Rare Bernard Chaudron brooch made out of Sterling Silver and set with a singular pearl. This brooch has a sculptural feel with a play on positive and negative space. This is a masterpiece by the Canadian designer, most likely one of a kind.
Chaudron's jewelry is very rare and highly collected. He is known for his Bronze Necklaces, but his Sterling Silver jewelry rarely comes onto the market.
His work is uniquely different but comparable to the other great Canadian Brutalist artists such as Larin, Vidal and Alfandary.
Measures approx. 2.25" long x 7/8" wide
Hallmarked "Sterling" and Chaudron's pictorial hallmark.
