Rafael Alfandary necklace made out of brass in a diamond/scroll shape with tomato red color glass cabochon. Brutalist in design with rough soldering accented by the smooth glass stone.

Rafael was a famous jewelry designer in the 1970's, designing for many celebrities. His designs tend to use glass and brass, but on occasion he would mix copper or other found objects into the mix. He loved to make large statement pieces, many of them having kinetic movement.
The pendant measures about 3.75" tall x 1 7/8" wide
The chain measures about 27" in total length.
