Guy Vidal Chain Necklace in a striking pattern of stacked cubes and brass spheres. This necklace has a wonderful textural depth, with beautiful abstract design. A great piece by one of the great Canadian Modernists from the 1970's.
Vidal was a true master at sculptural pieces of wearable art, his work contains depth, texture and stunning stylized design. Often regarded as the best of the Canadian Modernist of the 1960-70's due to his unique and highly stylized designs.
The chain is about 28" in total length.
Each link is about 1.5" long x 0.5" wide
This piece is designed without a clasp, you simply pull it over your head to put it on.

Necklace is in good vintage condition with heavier patina. Some of the bronze balls have lost their plating.
