Yves Sylvestre and Micheline de Passille started working together in 1959, complimenting each others talents. Yves executing the metal work and Micheline creating the designs. Not afraid of experimentation, they created many unique and wonderful pieces of wearable art. Considered the best of the Quebec Enamel Movement, de Passille-Sylvestre are highly collected today. . The back is signed using an early signature "de P.S." Measures about 1 7/8" wide x 1.5" tall This brooch is in good vintage condition with no cracks.
