Rare George Dancy sterling silver screwback earrings. These are handcrafted, hand signed and one of a kind. Expertly made, these are part of Canada's jewelry history.
George Dancy was a member of the Ontario (Canada) Metal Guild, working in Sterling Silver, glass, and stone. His work as an auto mechanic was cut short due to arthritis however this opened the doors to a second career in jewelry (1950's). Creating bold modernist design, his work is comparable to Andrew Fussell, Bob Ford, Douglas Boyd and Nancy Meek.
