Rare Elsa Freund earrings made out of Sterling Silver and her famous red clay ceramics. This set features a rich blue glaze, the blue almost looks like it's made from jewels. The sterlings silver spirals around the ceramic jewels.
Elsa's jewelry has been featured in Brooklyn's Museum of Art in an exhibit of Art Smith and his contemporaries. Her work is in the Smithsonian, Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Metal Museum of Tennessee's and the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art's permanent collection.
The earrings measure approx. 1.25" tall x 1" wide
It is in good vintage condition with appropriate wear and patina for it's age
